Back in May Brooklyn rapper 22Gz was arrested after engaging in a high speed chase with police while in Miami. 22Gz, born Jeffery Alexander, was accused of murdering 30-year-old Ladarian Phillips after engaging in an argument over a parking spot. The altercation would take place at 10:35 p.m. when 22Gz and friends attempted to park a white BMW. While attempting to park the BMW the driver of the car would hit Phillips’ car which would lead to a argument between Phillips, a friend, 22Gz, & company shortly afterwards.

The 19-year-old rapper allegedly fired around 3 shots hitting Phillips in the back and his friend in the leg. 22Gz and his friends fleed from the scene leading to the high speed police chase. 22Gz was scheduled to perform in Miami Beach on May 27th. The rapper would proclaim his innocence.

Now it has been revealed that the Brooklyn rapper has now been released from jail and is now home in New York. An acquaintance of the rapper went live on Facebook to show that the rapper is definitely home though, details on what occurred with the rapper’s case are unclear at the moment.
